I actually worked this case in the OR last night. This story just tears me up. I can't imagine the horror of being responsible for two and possibly three of your own children's death. Unfortunately, this is the second event of parents and alcohol related child auto deaths in the Chattanooga area in a month. I will never forget this little 14 year old girl. Not many things get to me after being in health care for 12 years but this one really hurts. Everyone, please be safe. I don't want to see any of you on my table at Erlanger for a trauma call.

Wow. I cannot imagine how I would feel if I were responsible for the death of any of my children. I would be on suicide watch.

One thing I noticed from the story: A 29 year old with a 14 year old daughter?!? Dang!

Good Grief, this is terrible, those poor kids. I just dont understand how people drink and then drive.

The last child died yesterday am. This was the mother's 4th DUI charge and her second with her child in the car. Senseless.
