Get used to seeing more of them this season. Moving the kick 5 yards makes a big difference.

Oh well...

Yeah i don't like it. Kickoffs are a part of the game. You make millions to play the game and with that are certain risks. Either that or just take the pads off of them and play touch. This, plus the already ridiculous rules regarding QB's , i don't like where it's headed.

Kicking off from the 30 really hasn't been around all that long. More balls will fly into the endzone, but the other side of it is the rule about the coverage team having to have one foot on the 30 before the kick so they can't get as much of a running start. Taking away those extra few steps might actually create some returns.

Colts were dead last in starting field position last year. I see this rule working in their favor.

Be grateful that there are still kickoffs. The original proposal was to remove kickoffs entirely.

Seems guys aren't too afraid of bringing a deep one out every now and then. I guess they shouldn't be since that's going to be how they have to do it.
