This is something that I always try to get my hands on or figure out after games. It's something that just about all coaches keep as a gauge of who's helping the team. I'll try to post this after most games.

Belmont

Tobias Harris: 31 minutes, +6
Cameron Tatum: 12 minutes, +4
Melvin Goins: 25 minutes, +3
John Fields: 6 minutes, +3
Kenny Hall: 6 minutes, +3
Skylar McBee: 11 minutes, +1
Scotty Hopson: 29 minutes, EVEN
Trae Golden: 15 minutes, EVEN
Jordan McRae: 19 minutes, -2
Steven Pearl: 8 minutes, -3
Brian Williams: 29 minutes, -5
Jeronne Maymon: 9 minutes, -5

Is this your tally or the coaches'?

Kinda surprising that McBee is in the positive.

McBee was in for 10 out of the 26 "rotations". 4 were negative, 4 were positive, and 2 were even. His best "rotation" was the 16:30 mark to the 14:59 mark of the 2nd Half where Tennessee was +3. I have the whole spreadsheet on my laptop, but my wifi is down, so I can't link it. Very interesting stuff.

I think some of the players did a great job picking up their game. Other players still didn't have it all together. How many times are we going to watch our guys dribble it off their leg and then show piss poor body language. The latter is what is affecting his game. Stay positive. It breeds good things.

It is one point but without his production last night we would have had our first 4 game losing streak in the last 6 years. The team is improving. If we weren't we would have lost. I am anxious to see how they come out next Wed. Then we will see how we are improving.

How is this calculated?

It's the amount of points the team is better or worse than the opponent while a player is on the floor.

For example:
Goins, Hopson, Tatum, Harris, and Williams start the game.

Tatum leaves with 17 minutes left and Tennessee is up 5. Tatum gets +5. McRae enters. If when Tatum comes back for McRae Tennessee is only up by 4, McRae is -1.

Oh okay. I know that there is a formula that takes into consideration rebounds, steals, assists, points, and even 50/50 plays.
