We adopted two from the pound 4 years ago... they were runners, and one just was not buying in with this adoption. He would sneak under the fence and hit the road. But after a couple of weeks of going under the fence, he started to think it through some and he would turn back and come home, made me smile. Took a while but he knew what he had with us was pretty special... good feelings all around.
