Ainge does not make top ten qb's according to espn. Im not for sure saying that he is a top ten qb, but it bothers me that Stafford and John Parker Wilson both made this guys list and Ainge did not. Thoughts...

It's his injury. A lot of sites have mentioned it being a worry, when it really isn't.

And John Parker Wilson will have better numbers than Ainge.

I can't believe Stafford is a top ten qb. There is absolutely no way. Andre Woodson is much better.

Yeah thats a joke. I wonder if espn knows they shouldnt rate a player based on their recruiting rank.

apparently not... I think a freshman year in college football holds more weight than 4 years in high school, and Stafford had a cruddy freshman year. Just look at his numbers. We are going to eat him alive this year.

Ainge played terrible as a sophomore after an injury, that must have been on the writer's minds at espn.

Fat Stafford ranked ahead of Ainge? Give me a break. If you wonder why Ainge isnt in there look at Ainge's injury coupled with the loss of all our starting wr's. As far as fat boy is concerned somebody needs to tell ESPN that his spooning with the backup qb being caught in some pics may effect team chemistry. I mean dont you think the o-lineman will be mad that he was cheating on them?

Hope John Parker stays healthy.... We'll see....

There is no team in the history of sport I hate more than Bama, so compliments from me are few and far between. But last year we put some serious hits on that Wilson kid and he kept getting up, he seemed pretty tough.

But I wouldn't go so far as to rank him or Stafford above Ainge. I know we lose our receivers and all, but Ainge will have one more year with Cutcliffe and will be the unquestioned leader of this team. I expect a great year.

Ainge is a better QB than Henne, but Henne has Manningham. Having inexperienced receivers will hurt Ainge.

and really, who cares about this???

it's not inconceivable that Ainge will have a down year compared to last year........lose all three top WR's and still have ? on the offensive line.

the guy didn't commit a sin with this opinion.

Stafford arguably has better options at WR, as does JPW. it will all play out in the end, this just isn't that big of a deal. If TN beats UGA and Bama, will anyone care about the article that was written in May???

uh, no. and should we lose, well , then maybe the guy's smarter than we think...

Brent Vinson, Kenny O'Neal, and Gerald Jones coming in and playing right away should soften the blow of losing our top 3 WR's. Plus Hancock and Rogers, we shouldn't really be worrying to much about that. But if Briscoe and Taylor start the Cal game, we lose.

I think Ainge is better. Henne gets to play behind a great oline, with Mike Hart, Manningham, and they will have sold receivers back there, too. The only year Henne didn't have Mannigham, he had Braylon Edwards.

Hopefully Ainge can get motivated by all the negativity and come out this season full throttle.
