Most impressive to me has been his ability to constantly evolve and leave his comfort zone. We didnt have a QB for a couple years and so he adapted and we led the SEC in rushing despite teams knowing our weak link was. Then teams adapted to better be able to deal with the shotgun veer/shoot stuff and tempo as a weapon....so CJH adds the pistol formation stuff and more looks from 12personnnel to confuse defenses and keep them on their heels. He isnt the product of a good system...he IS the system and the only constant has been change in our offense....and success. We have one of the top offenses in FBS. Defense is gonna improve greatly too. GBO

I find it hard to agree with this. He's not horrible but I think there are better, particulary in the 2nd half.

Unfortunately, i think Kiffin is the best pure play caller in the league.

Lol....You satisfied in year 5 we got skull drug by Vandy at home and beat 1 team with a plus .500 record, ETSU. Figures coach lover. What's gonna be your coach excuse when it's not better this season? Get real. LMAO!

Are there any analytics to identify the top five play callers on this Forum? Hindsight would have to be discounted in some manner.

If our defense can breathe it will be better then last years...Who's fault was it that it got that way?....who's fault we have been weak and undisciplined?...who's fault our offense didn't do anything after the the other team adjusted? Game management blunders in nut-cutten time? Year 6 and we're relying on a true freshman or redshirt freshman QB neither with experience? There's a reason Vegas has us at 6.5 to 7.5 wins.

This is interesting and makes me wonder why we haven't been more successful. I have to be very deliberate to separate play calling from overall scheme and then take into account our defense as well. Hopefully Josh continues to refine the overall scheme and the defense improves or we will not improve our record.

Kiff at his best might be the best but he also makes some really boneheaded calls that cost his team and that knocks him off the pedestal of best overall.

The rest of them are Fulmerites, their recruiting fortune makes them look better than they are.
