I don't even think I remember this play. Weird.

It was a great one that happened at the perfect time. Just as the commentators were saying something about UK and momentum or something bam, we put them right back in their place.

That really is a beautiful choice for the #3 play of 2015. Not only highlights the best of Dobbs and Malone, and Hurd's blocking acumen/field vision, it also offers hope for the passing game in the coming season.

Well chosen. Can't wait to see what you picked for #2 and #1.

My response to this play real time was "Where the f*** did that come from?"

Would love to see more!

You know what they say about blind hogs. I just hope Dobbs really can get it together to throw the long ball well enough and often enough to stretch the backfield. Then the Chain Moving Gang can punch out yards and march downfield. I want to see them flow through and around and over opposing defenses like water. Barring too many injuries, we do have the depth to have a complete run/pass offense this year.
Can't wait.

Was in the stands and I can say that the Tennessee fans behind us were just as shocked as we all were lol...

I haven't said a cuss word in 22 years now, but I almost said the same thing. Ha

It was a beautifully thrown football.....as was Dormady's 49 yard over the shoulder throw to PWill Carolina Western Carolina. I equate those two.

I wouldn't. It wasn't even close. It was shorter through the air. P Will had to slow down and got tackled. A better pass he would have hit him in stride for a td. The guy was burnt badly. If that pass was versus a good defense it would have been broken up at least, if not intercepted.

So one is in stride, further through the air, versus SEC first team defense, for a td, while behind.

The other was shorter, he got tackled, versus Southern Conf second or third team defense in a blowout.

Yea, nowhere near as impressive.

Yeah I think the throw Malone dropped vs USCe was definitely the prettiest pass we saw last season. Maybe since Butch took over, now that I think about it.

1. You know, this stuff is easily checked/researched/verified. Anybody can do it.....You're letting your bias cloud your judgment. That QD throw to PWill was every bit as beautiful a throw as Dobbs' throw to Malone vs Kentucky. Only someone with an agenda would say otherwise.

2. PWill did not have to slow down at all. The ball was thrown to his outside shoulder because he was very well covered to his inside. The ball was perfectly placed, PWill made an outstanding catch and the cornerback then tackled him. Your assessment that a "better pass would've resulted in a TD" is crap and, deep down, beneath your bias, you know it..... just give the kid his due.

3. Actually, as good a throw as Dobbs made to Malone vs Kentucky, his pass was much closer to being intercepted than QD's pass to PWill...it was a very good throw and Josh had excellent focus to catch it....QD's pass, as I mentioned, was beautifully thrown to PWill's outside shoulder next to the sideline, so if PWill hadn't caught it, no one would have.

4. Dobbs' pass traveled 50 yards in the air, QD's 48.....virtually no difference. I'd say nice try, but it wasn't.

5. IMHO, the 3 best throws of the season, in no particular order, were 1. Dobbs' throw to Malone vs Ky for the 75 yd TD.....2. Dobbs' throw to Malone vs SCar which Josh dropped in the endzone......3. Dormady's throw to PWill vs Western Carolina.

Honorable mention: Dobbs' 2 throws vs Bama on our last scoring drive, 1 across the field to Smith, the other a deep post to Malone.

Yeah, QD's throw was every bit as good and impressive as Dobbs'.
