I was watchin...cheerin...and when I saw the ball pop out...it was a breath of fresh air to see the young guns learn how to close a game. Hopefully our defense will rock so we don't have to play soft on Offense.

One of the big "Whew" plays of the year. Not a fancy play, not a pretty play, but a big Whew! play. Just like Randolph's batting away the pass in the final play of the Georgia game. Whew.

That was a huge play for the game (obviously) but also for the whole season (possibly).

What's the speculation on the season IF we had lost another heart breaker?

Watched that game again @ 2 weeks ago. Like the article said "many" have forgotten how close we were to losing that game. We jumped on them early and were about to run away with this game. Then our offense went cold and defense got porous down the stretch. Sound familiar?

USC did a great job getting back in that and so did their interim coaches. Thankfully Malik Foreman made a legendary play to save the game at the last moment. Had USC came back to win in that fashion, I'm not sure Vol Nation could have born to pain of yet another 4th Q collapse. It would have been the #1 "talking point" of the off season, plus our Bowl game would have been weaksauce, so even winning that would have been a little hallow.

Can't see us getting much playoff talk after an 8-5 season and weak bowl win. Watching that game reminded my to "pump the brakes" a little on some of this "playoffs or bust" talk that's out there. We had better improve in 2016.

Anybody want to guess what the number one play will be? This might be fun.

I'm thinking...maybe Dobbs to J. Smith at the end of the first half against Georgia?

Has to be. That pass was the point at which the season changed.

The receiver should thank him for knocking it away, for another Ga player to drop another one, may be asking too much.

Go Vols!

Edit: Wrong play. Is it irony that I have the SC game on?
