My Top 10 Worst Tennessee Losses | Bleacher Report

Saw this and thought it was only fitting to post this since it was Memphis week. Sorry if its already been posted. Pretty good list that i agree mostly with. Only other losses i can think of that might should have made it are the florida and LSU losses in '06, especially UF with the phantom roughing the passer call and also maybe this years loss to bama. ugh

The 05 loss to bama, 6-3, when we were about to score a touchdown to go up 10-3 and we fumble it through the endzone willforever leave me dumbfounded.

I would replace 1999 Arkansas with either 2005 Bama or the 1993 Bama tie with David Palmer.

The most stinging one for me was the 27-23 loss to UF in 2000 when they credited Jabar Gaffney with a TD catch that was clearly, in my heart, a dropped incomplete pass. We wuz robbed!

I don't know about that, the Arkansas loss was a memorable one. We punted with about a minute to go in the lead, and they ran it back for a TD and won. I believe we were undefeated at the time.

No, we had lost to Florida earlier in the year because Alex Brown had like 30 sacks in that game.

Anyone notice the pic of the Wyoming game was from a game quite some time back? The East Sky Boxes aren't even in place yet. Sorry, just something I noticed.

6-3 bama and the UF jabar gaffney "non-catch" are ones i forgot about but those were absolutely awful. Still remember that retard ref that called the catch a TD. I wanted to shoot him b/c he was too stubborn to reverse the call. he knew he was wrong all along

The 6-3 Bama game was a bad one. Cory Anderson's fumble on that screen play was a heart breaker.

What about DUKE coming into our house beating us headed up by "The Ole Ball Coach" that one hurt. i think Steve Spurrier junior is still slinging the ball all over the field.

The Gaffney non-catch hurt pretty bad, but maybe it is just because it is so recent, the Bama game this year seems to have stung the longest.

a shame that won an ESPY. elbow and forearm is clearly down. oh well, no use crying about it 12 years later

YouTube - ESPY Kickoff Return

WOW didn't see that game b/c i was only 9 at the time but that was Horse $hit to say the least... unbelievable that wasn't callled down. Its funny thats the only way they could ever beat UT.. on a special teams no call where half the team gave up on the play b/c of a call that was never made...
