Slovis was thrown in against Stanford. Worked out ok

All with an inferior run game than TN has

I’m just saying that you’re making out like the USC coach had a moment of inspiration. He just threw the next best guy out after his starter was lost for the season. Different scenarios so different arguments.

Boise St. Kid was an 81. So 1 whole point better than Maurer. Started game 1 against FSU.

So it just can’t happen at TN, got it.

We’re not in the same conversation. Where did I bring up RATINGS? I’m no champion of the services or star chasers or dismissal of players because of such. I’m saying (for whatever reason) the coaches have evaluated all the QB’s on their roster and JG has been their choice. Practices, film talk whatevs. If JG had been hurt, they would have put their evaluated NEXT BEST option on the field...and both of them are 3 stars.

Either way. Similarly rated to 2 other True Freshman starting QBs who are successful so far.

I don't care about "practice." Dobbs was by all accounts a terrible practice QB.

There's also the story of Jamal Lewis. Said he was a "gamer." Some people just are.

Tell your cousin JG I said hi and good luck in whatever his degree is in.
