When the smoke clears in this basketball coaching hirestorm, is Tony Jones a head coaching replacement for a mid major coach who has moved on up the ladder?

Tony Jones is awesome, but he has stated that he wants to be a head coach. I hope he gets what he wants. He deserves it.

I wouldn't already proclaim him to "fail" hat. I've said the same thing about certain assistants on numerous occasions.(Only to be proven wrong) A few more years here and he might be ready for a low-major or possibly mid-major depending on the situation.

My uncle, Rocky Ricardo, coached high school ball for several years. He was a very intense coach back in the day. Thinking back he was probably just as fiery as Coach Pearl. They would have went together like peas and carrots.
