Tony's going to spotlight VolNation today. Post your comments or topics here!

Tony's got some info on Davis, Kelly, and Leach in his blog today, as well as an article about BJ Coleman.

Someone (other than the fans) should have stood up and done something about this crap earlier in the year---maybe after the UCLA game?????

It took the fans boycotting and threatenting a total boycott to get Hammy to do anything. It is sad. Forget the good of the Tennessee football program--it all came down to $$$$

This year has damaged our recruiting, our fan base, our fundraising, it has hurt local merchants due to less people attending games, and national reputation.

I'm all for giving people 2nd chances, but sometimes you have to cut the cord earlier rather than later.

Hoping for a football coach like Bruce Pearl or Pat Summit.

Therefore someone who tells you who ‘it’s going to be’ is lying to you. Even the notion of a leader in the clubhouse right now is conjecture in my opinion. Truth is, no one, (not even Mike Hamilton at this point) knows who it’s going to be.
I agree Tony. I'd even dare to say that the ones who daily give us updates on who the leader is are simply pimping the guy(s) they want by exaggerating what they've supposedly heard. Love the show.

Tony, love the show. I am starting to fall into the Brian Kelly camp the more and more I hear and think about it. Your thoughts?

info on Davis, Kelly, and Leach??

I hope his info is that Davis plans to stay at UNC and sabbatoge their entire athletic dept from the inside, Leach is going to make a youtube video showing how to hula-hoop like you could when you were a kid, and BRIAN KELLY IS EXCITED TO SIGN AS UT's NEXT HEAD COACH!!!

OK, here's a question for you...

Of the popular 'short list' coaching candidates mentioned, who figures to be able to assemble the best staff around them, considering both the player developement and recruiting needs facing this program?

The only person I have heard any speculation on about this is Kiffin (Dad Monte..Orgeron..Tim Davis..Chris Kiffin)

What say you O Basilio?..

Steele has also been mentioned for Monte's D. Likely to take over for him after he retires.

However, as usual this a great post/question from owh. I'd love to see a good answer.

Tony, you need to pump your show into Southernmiddle Tennessee. All we get is anti-UT propoganda, Finebaum, and stupid Bama radio.

My question is in regards to our 2009 recruits and the offensive system that the new coach will bring to UT. Tajh Boyd and Oku both have stated that they are solid as long as we don't run the spread. Furthermore, I've heard rumors of current UT players transferring if and for the same reason.

How big of a deal is this and how seriously should this be taken?

Additionally, what coaches in particular does this concern (Peterson and Leach?)?

Also like to hear your opinion on the recent statements by John Gruden, and whether or not it might have been "coachspeak" or not.

Tony, how can to continue to promote Leach when the fact remains that he's hardly improved that program from what Spike Dykes was doing? Plus his success at UK came with a #1 pick at QB and its not like the 'Cats did jack crap in this league then.
