Poor Dooley really struggles. Even in a win. He made some interesting calls, didn't he? The game management at the end of the game is low hanging fruit for criticism. The decision that got me was going for the touchdown after the roughing the kicker penalty. You have to take 3 points there if you're attempting to play quality football. The insertion of the wildcat after Vandy failed again on offense led to a loss of 16 yards. Just brutal. That look on his face as he screamed at Henshaw was one of a guy who looks lost. No offense, but that's the truth. If you look at the video, he literally loses his mind unlike we've ever seen a coach anywhere, (this side of that clown at Florida). Where were these guys when Saban was teaching keeping his cool on the sidelines?

The play that lost 16 yards was the one where our center was trying to pull to lead the blocking right? I like the pulling guard play on occasion but don't know about the old pulling center.

Hope they scrape that Wildcat stuff for Kentucky

Honestly I'm so tired of the knoxville media always trying to find something to jump on and be "edgy". They will be the first ones drooling all over him if with Hunter back in the line up and a stellar recruiting class we are getting 8 or 9 wins. They will then be saying how everyone needed to relax and give Dooley time and the irrational fan base almost cost us a good coach. Sickens me

Just dumb. I've seen Saban look like he's having a stroke on the sideline. It's getting old watching these hacks all try to be Paul Finebaum.

Just wish we could have some good ole fashioned homerism from our media. UGA and many other programs enjoy it.

And that's pretty sad when they've set their standard to emulate that loser.

I didn't have a problem with any of the decisions by CDD that are mentioned in the OP.

The most questionable thing was the 3rd 36 time out.

Dooley was correct with what he was saying on the sidelines and I didn't think twice about going for the TD after Parlady kicked the ball into the back of the Oline....the mustang debacle was on the center and not the coach.....sounds to me like Tony B. is posting without knowing what he's talking about

thank you! dooley and coaching is not THE issue. it's a part of the puzzle. there isn't a magic fix to our program. that said, get rid of cheney. the man can't move the ball out of a paper bag.

So going for the td and getting the tie was a bad thing? Ummmm okay.

Right, especially after Palardy just kicked one right back to the center. You get a break like that and you take advantage of it. I think there is a maxim that says something similar.

More BS from a BS Artist (aka, a sports writer) trying to bring attention upon themselves by attempting to create controversy. Unfortunately for this guy, he's not horribly creative, and comes off looking desperate to be relevant.

So letting the clock run down to 2 seconds then calling a time out then coming out and taking a knee was good coaching?
