Neither team is putting on a clinic right now and I wouldn't call it a case of good defense either. There have been several rushed shots from the perimeter and off balance shots in traffic. Mabrey is really hurting ND with her 25 foot set shots early in the clock. She is 1-7 from 3 point range - a lot of poor decisions in there.

UConn is 13-36
Notre Dame is 14-40

The quality of play has picked up a little bit here in the 3rd. Mabrey finally hit a shot. ND has been fortunate that Samuelson's perimeter shot has been off. She is getting some open looks.

I'm really disappointed with how Notre Dame has run their offense. A lot of high risk entry passes in the 3rd quarter and a really bad foul on Samuelson to end the quarter.
