This stinks. Seems like he was on his way to some playing time.

In another perspective its a forced red shirt, may work out for the best.

For who? I don't see how it could be best to think about him getting injured, I would think he would strongly disagree with you....JMO though, I could be wrong

Not what I was getting at. He is injured, it's done can't unring that bell. Regrettable and unfortunate but it is what it is. Now that it is...he gets a year to rehab and learn...in a couple of seasons he may be our starter and lookin awesome because he sat back a year.

That's how I took "may work out for the best" to mean. I don't think anyone is glad he got injured. Adversity tends to build character.

I wasn't saying he was glad he got injured, Lord none of us would wish that on anyone..I was saying best for Who? I don't think it is best for him, I guess it could potentially be best for the Tennessee Fans, but I don't think it is best for him by any means....... Build character??? I don't understand that one either.. He is going to be better due to his injury? Or is it going to build the character of the team? ... It almost sound like we are saying "Well I hate that you got hurt, but no big deal because it will help out then team more anyway"...I would say it is a really big deal to him... I may have read it wrong though.. Sorry if I did..

it will probably give him more playing time because he will have 1 more year than bryce brown or oku

Yea.. I don't see Brown staying for the long haul anyway.. I think he will be gone in 2 years at the most if he lives up to the billing.. I think he will jump the border if tears it up like he is advertised to do.. Hopefully I'm wrong though..

A lot of personal growth and maturity comes from playing sports. When one is delt a set-back, like an injury, and that person perserveres and comes back and is still successful, how can that not be a character building experience? And no, I don't think that helps the team, it speaks to the reason we put our sons and daughters in sports in the first place. That is, among other things, to build character.

unfortunate that this happened. we our still deep at RB and a redshirt for Toney might mean an Oku/Brown/Hardesty triple threat.

I'm not sure what the deal is with Sean White. Last I heard, he was working as a DB.

I highly doubt the kid goes to Canada to play ball after two years here.

This is one of the dumbest posts I have ever seen.
