I was fortunate to see Seaver, Ryan, and R Johnson in my lifetime. Intimidation and challenging the batter at its finest.

One of the five greatest right handed pitchers since the deadball era (Clemens, Maddux, Seaver, Gibson and Ryan to me).

-From 1967-1978 his ERA was never more than 3.20 (2.61 during that span)

-Won the ERA crown 3 times, best in FIP 4 times, K/BB ratio 3 times, strikeouts 5 times and H/9 3 times

-Had two 10 WAR seasons according to baseball reference

-2.77 postseason ERA in 61.2 innings and his game 4 in the 69 WS is a forgotten gem: 10 IP 6 hits 1 run 2 BB’s 6 K’s in a 2-1 victory

30 starts one year.with 21 complete games. Don't see that anymore. He was a stud.
