How's this for kicking off a game show? The first player with a shot at big money collects $1 million.
Jamie Sadler, a 19-year-old University of Florida student, pulled off that feat in the show's premiere Tuesday on CBS.
And what an enjoyable show it is. Drew Carey hosts exuberantly. Players must guess how Americans answered provocative questions in opinion polls. (Sample: How many women consider themselves feminists?) Executive producer Michael Davies brings the showman's flair he used so successfully on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire." You can see the show in its regular slot at 8 p.m. Wednesday on WKMG-Channel 6.

And Sadler was an excellent contestant. It was his girlfriend's idea to try out for the show. He made it; she didn't.
And now he has the big money. The New Jersey man will need it: He is a premed student who works as a waiter and caddie.
Sadler's take on host Carey: "The nicest guy in the world."
I have to agree. "Power of 10" should help Carey move into his next job as Bob Barker's replacement on "The Price Is Right."

carey badgered sadler to go after 10 million... he kept saying "but when will you ever have a 1 in 11 chance to get 10 million dollars... and if you lose, you still get 100k." that was annoying. the producers were trying too hard to make his obvious decision sound interesting. i only caught the last two questions, but watching his mom go "NOOOOOO" for four minutes straight soured my oppinion of that show.

I don't get LG1, the(freshman) received his former education in New Jersey not Florida. So doesn't New Jersey deserve the accolades?
