I'm perfectly fine with the sports management and sociology majors on the team --shooting for an NFL career is admirable, even if not likely to happen --but when we have true student-athletes, who combine football with STEM majors, I'm just speechless. Just managing to schedule their labs around practice is pretty damn impressive.

BCMB is a single major. Not necessarily a pre med either. I'm a microbiology major, so we take similar classes.

My brother is getting his phd in microbiology. He is getting it at UGA though so that sucks, but closest school to home that he got accepted to.

Heck yeah, good for him. It's a hard thing to stick with, I don't plan on getting anything besides a bachelors. You wouldn't happen to know what he's studying for his doctorate do you?

I remember him seeming to be out of position or taking bad angles on his pursuit to the sideline in the first 3 games, it seems he has made the corrections and is starting to play fast! I have always like TK, it's good to see him ball out in a big way.

Not really something with a type of of single celled organisms and how they react to different things. I think he told me it's like the first step before they go on to using mice and see how the react to medicines and different treatments.
