Todd Kelly Jr. Retiring from football

The full image won’t load for me, but thanks to him for his time here and wish him the best. I saw multiple times that he was one of the brightest guys on the team so I’m sure he’ll do great at whatever he chooses to do. I remember several clutch INTs (two against Oklahoma, one against Florida in 2016, etc)

Dunno if it's his desire, but Tennessee could use a graduate assistant I'm sure to coach safeties. Might be a future top coach in the making.
That’s a good point. He always came across as having very high football (and non football) IQ. Good luck in whatever he does but I hope to see him on our sidelines again. #VFL

It's been said that he would have been to slow for the NFL anyways but you never know. Look at how Justin Coleman is balling out in Seattle.

Good luck TKjr. Put that degree to work and make the world a better place. We need you to be uber successful so you can fund our Social Security Checks!

Definitely hate hearing this news for the young VOL. I loved watching him when he was healthy. Maybe he’ll go into coaching?

Although the NFL is no longer an option, he did earn his degree (biological sciences). He did all he could for the team. Best wishes to him.

He’s not going to try out for professional football bc of his knee injury. He looked much slower the past few seasons, but does anybody know how fast he was his first couple years at UT?

He looked fast, but maybe he was just more smart than fast? I’m just wondering if he really didn’t hv NFL type of speed to begin with?

Wish i could "unlike" several of these posts.

Why would you say anything at all negative about VFL who gave his all for us and got hurt? Anything negative, at all? Speed, etc? NFL...anything?

That makes you a real dbag whether you know it or not, and makes me ashamed of you like you should be of your sorry selves...who by the way, could not outperform Kelly in any physical way, even now...and probably not mentally or academically either. He is probably not a dbag like yall, either.

You dont trash our players on the way out the door. Why is that hard to understand?
