hes a low 3 on rivals and scout but yet top 100 on espn. I know espn gets a lot of things wrong, but they must see something in this kid.

i wondered this myself. typical recruiting rankings, i find rivals to be more consistant, but you never know.

take away athletic ability and it's great to have someone like Todd simply because of character and love of the Vols. Im not advocating a roster full of guys that cant play but have a heart for the orange, but you need a few. And I think Todd can play, dont forget he's been mentored by Joey Kent for years now.

Campbell had no chance of moving up this year because he played on a team with virtually no QB. He is better than 3*s, but not likely top 100.

You never know. The guys who love UT the most turn out to be UT's best players. Manning, Al Wilson, Henderson, Sears. All those guys turned down the NFL. Sears cried right after the UK game ended. It was his last home game. I talked to him after a game once. Very nice guy. He was one hell of a vol.

I agree totally. On the college level where your playing for your school instead of a big paycheck, pride and love for your school and your teammates makes all the difference in the world.

I dont know if it makes all the difference, but it's great when ability and school pride come together in one package.

I went to Franklin High (although a LONG TIME AGO). I went back to see a few games this year. Todd Campbell is the real deal. I think HV did state that they didnt have a great qb and that is true, but Todd has great hands. He will be a deceptionally fast receiver that has reliable hands.
I think Todd, and Tyler (if he isnt moved to defense) will be VERY good as recievers at Tennessee.
