To those saying Lamonte gave upon the team...

For anyone who has experienced shoulder issues and HAD to have surgery understands just how painful this was for LT. I’m not on twitter either and have zero desire to be but it’s like anything else... It matters 100% on who’s tweet you’re reading as to the legitimacy of it. IF people are morons It makes little difference if they’re on Twitter or in the classroom. JMO.

Just another reason LT will be one of my all time fav Vols. That dagger 3 against UK in the SEC tourney tho 😁.
Great memory for me as well. And walking among the Wildcat fans (who I have no problem with) after the game was kind of special too because they were STUNNED! And the Cats were selling those really good championship tickets for the next day quite cheap as well. Actually had a couple of fans tell us they'd rather us have the tickets than Auburn. Made no difference in the end.

Obviously different ailments in terms of severity, but the circumstance of Lamonte's story reminds me a lot of when Chris Lofton was quietly diagnosed with testicular cancer before his senior year, which we knew nothing about as a fan base.

Turner had a solid career for UT and he could be a good coach if that is what he wants to do.
