Guys I've not liked 2 out of these first 3 games so far, but some of you all are panicking too soon. If you'll remember we had a close game for a little while with bowling green, and also a very close game with a bad north Texas team last season. Does that make us a bad team? No. Does that make us a bit undisciplined playing down to our opponents? Yes. I for one though am not giving up on a 3-0 team right before the biggest game of their college careers. Tennessee football can be frustrating at times, but it's also something that is very special. When we're going good Knoxville and the surrounding area is filled with a buzz that can't be measured. I understand those of you who are jumping off the band wagon, but I encourage those who have to get back on and stick with this team. I was born in 1993 so I don't even remember the golden years of Tennessee football, but I do know that even after 4-5 consecutive years of 5-7 or 6-6 football I have hung tough and stuck with my team no matter what. Has it been hard sometimes? Yes, but I enjoy the ride. Last year at this time we went into the Florida game thinking it was a for sure win, and this year we are having major doubts. Maybe it's good that we are changing our toon and becoming a little more humble. Maybe we might just end this God forsaken streak, because I still believe we will. I love Vols football, and I will continue to do so through good and bad years. I feel there are some good years coming and this one can for sure still be one, so don't give up my fellow vol faithful. We can still do this!! God bless and GO BIG ORANGE!!

I wouldn't say that we are jumping off the Sunsphere. It's more like we are standing on the observation deck.

You are going to wet yourself if Tennessee ever wins 10 games. For me the excitement begins at 10 wins. But hang in there and maybe you'll get a glimpse of true glory one day.

Exactly. I'm 42 next month, I don't care about going to the Tampax Bowl and winning 7 games. We should be competing for SEC titles every year and National titles 2-3 times a decade. That will not happen with this coaching staff unless they learn how to gameplan and make adjustments and begin improving the players we recruit.

I love it when people tell everyone to just blindly support the Vols. News flash!....it's ok to be disappointed with the product on the field and still be a vols fan!

This place will explode next week if ole horse teeth sticks a horse shoe up Jones butt. Which is very probable with this teams play. The team has basically won on individual talent not anything the staff has prepared them for. Talent has taken a big hit the last two weeks. So yes things look a bit gloomy once you remove the Orange shades.

Would be a perfect bowl for our fan base to go to since so many of our fans on here use their product...very often.

HaHa, when does your tour start? I'm sorry that reality distorts your ability to see through those orange glasses, but being able to be critical of one's team, is part of being a fan. If you want to cheer mediocre play, go be a Candy fan and celebrate all the moral victories you want.

In all honesty...... Historically we have almost always played down to our competition. At least the 30 years I remember.

I know we haven't played well but I'm not going to ***** and moan like a little girl. 3-0 is still 3-0.

Awesome! Would you like a prize? I'm sorry that us expressing our displeasure of the performance we've seen so far bothers you, but as the season is 12 games, not 3, criticism is both fair and to be expected, when we've played this poorly against inferior opponents. 3-0 means absolutely nothing in the totality of a football season.

Pretty sure everyone here will wake up and go to work Monday morning. Recognizng the piss poor performance of this team, based on the talent level, isn't jumping off of anything.
Glad you felt the need to start a thread over this. Good freaking grief.
