Maybe you're scared of Tim Tebow. Yeah, the QB that has yet to start in a big-time SEC game. The QB that has yet to play against a secondary half as good as ours and linebackers that cant come close to the speed of ours. He'll be doing all this for the first time, and probably in the rain.


Which brings me to the rain. If it does rain, which last time I checked it was 50%, I think this increases our chances of winning by a HUGE lot. Why?

-Neutralize Florida's speed. Percy who?

-Can they run the option so effectively in the rain with a wet ball? Eh.

-How well can Tebow sling the ball around in the rain?


And finally, Florida gave up 31 points to Troy. 17 of those in the 3rd quarter. Sad really.

Florida's defense just may be worse than ours. 336 total yards to Troy. Their DB's still have not recorded an interception even against the 2 cupcakes.


I mean I really just dont understand why some of you guys are so scared of Florida. Sure they are defending national chaps and all but that was last year. They lost 8 defensive starters. 8. Sure their offense has looked good but once again, look who they've played.


IMHO Florida hasnt done much of anything to impress me and I think we match up very well with them.

This game is going to be an offensive shootout. That being said, I truly believe that the experience and senior leadership of EA will prevail.

I never claimed we would win. I only said your analysis is retarded and you're not even a UT fan.

Youre obviously the only 'UT fan' on this board that seems happy about the loss. You took the safe road out and picked UF because you're 100% negative.

If you want someones take on it that looks like an idiot now - call the creator of this thread out.

According to 1981 we ALL overlooked USM. Which was quite the opposite. He has no clue.

And most importantly he's not a UT fan or he's the worst UT fan in history.

If looking at the numbers at analyzing them without my Vols goggles = negativity, then I'm guilty as charged. However, you should note the difference between knowing based on the stats that we are unlikely to win and not supporting the team. I, unlike many of my fellow Vols who departed in the 3rd and 4th quarters, was watching every single second of that game, and cheering for the Vols the whole time.

Bassmanbruno, I don't recall saying (or hoping) Florida would win. I was chiding some of the posters for thinking that UT had much of a chance based on the Vols' OVERALL performance in the first 2 games.
