To speak into existence.

It's not about being positive or negative...it's about being objective and telling it like it is. This season was an underachievement but let's hope Butch does what it takes to turn it around. The upcoming recruiting class and potential staff changes will reveal much imo

"Telling it like it is". I bet less than 2% of the posts by Vol Nation are "telling it like it is" or have anything to do with facts or reality. I believe the best thing UT sports fans can do to improve the team is to be supportive of athletes and coaches.

I couldn't help myself.

So giddy to see Positive Comments that i sent "friend" requests to those Championing the Vols here.

So....

If you didn't get my "friend" request you can go ahead and toss yourself.

Go Vols!

I was at the bama game, it was starting to get out of hand, but I still had some hope. A Vol fan asked if I was worried. I said "If they return this punt for a TD, I will be worried", so after they ran it back this other Vol fan said, " You spoke it into existence.", so from here on, let's speak good things into existence.

So let's stay positive, win that bowl and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

2017 is gonna be great!

Go Vols!

The announcers did it in the bandy game as well. They talked about how our offense was unstoppable and was playing mistake free. We turned it over on the next play.

If I ever meet him I will ask him what loss to the Vols hurt the most. I bet he would say 2013. The beginning of the end.

Go Vols!

The year was 1990. Steve Spurrier is the first year head coach of his alma mater, UF, the school where he played quarterback and won the Heisman Trophy after receiving no interest from Tennessee. Spurrier's Gators had started out 5-0 and were ranked when Steve Orr made his first appearance in Neyland stadium as head coach. Quixotic Tennessee were 3-0-2 and not ranked. In a downpour, the Vols utterly dominated the Gators, 45-3, a front page news ass whoopin' that led every sports report across the nation.

Now, when The Old Visor Tosser discorporates and his mortal remains are interred, many will make pilgrimages to his final resting place. They will leave tokens, including visors, many if which will be tossed upon his grave. Using a permanent marker, you will embellish a UF visor with "45-3" and "10/13/1990" and toss it upon his grave.

So let it be written. So let it be done.

Live and die by the jinx. I've got reason to believe that my brother is the jinx, the worst part which brother is the worst. I'm amateur compared to any of them.

Go Vols!

Only if I can find a visor at the Goodwill for $1, no need to overpay.

Go Vols!

I agree somewhat with your post. There's always more important things in life than a game played by young kids. However, there's nothing wrong being concerned with how our team has progressed this season cause it's been a huge letdown. All we want is to compete for championships and be competitive in the SEC. Not lose to Vandy or South Carolina.

And I absolutely agree there is a concern with coaching this year as we did underachieve. I'm just tired of seeing 17 threads per day basically saying the same thing. Anybody with a little common sense knows we can't fire Butch this year.

Well we just think we are Christ Almighty up in Volnation.

Oh come on, you are being over dramatic.

That is not the intent of this thread and now you know it, if you didn't already.

To request good vibes rather than negative comments, bashing and backstabbing does not qualify as what you are acusing.

If that is how you really feel, then my bad. It's a conversation that happened and it's an expression that I've heard before and it wasn't in church discussing creation.

Your neighbors are a bad influence.

Go Vols!

Win that bowl!
