The freezer in my garage.....this is horrible.

Circuit breaker tripped to the garage power....freezer full of meat thawed and rotted.

Send help....dare I say....could it get any worse??

I just want to curl up and cry:cray:

You don't need all of that meat anyway. Too many antibiotics and hormones in it.

I feel your pain USAF right after i moved into new house in july, my BEER fridge went out. The freezer was full of meat, but the fridge had about six cases of beer. Leinenkugel, Clipper City, and some other various beers I cannot get in bama that I had picked up along the way. Was a full sized fridge that got duct taped shut and hauled off contents included.

Jesus I do not wish this disaster on anyone. The worst smell you can imagine.

I soaked my hands in vinegar...this is bad

Also, dropped a fogger in the garage to kill the flies that flocked to the stain on the concrete.

I agree, this calls for heavy drinking followed by more heavy drinking.I got your back over here.

try putting lemon juice on your hands(real lemon)if that don't work, cut them off.

I don't know about the smell in the freezer, try scrubbin it with baking soda,if that don't work go next door and kill a cat.

Eat Mor Chikin.

Just pickin.

Sorry for your troubles.

To be honest, there were 4 packages of chicken that bloated to the size of footballs.

You sir are a genius. Cats are evil. Bad thing about it, the freezer is too small to convert into a kegerator.

My brother shot a turkey and had it in his freezer when he had to fly out to Dallas to redesign their Airport's parking lot. He was out there for 2 months and when he came back home, there was no more turkey in the freezer, just thousands of maggots. DISGUSTING!!!!! And his girlfriend left him for his landlord.

I agree with this. We've had our freezer go out before and it was a nightmare but the smell is gone. Sad part was it was all our own meat (deer, turkey, pheasant) so it's pretty hard to replace.

A gallon of Simple Green, and the hottest water you can to fill the entire thing quickly. See if you have a spigot on your hot water line somewhere near the heater..give it a good scrubbing soon after, with a hard bristled brush (like a snow brush on an ice scraper. Let it sit for a good while, and hope for the best.

Simple Green FTW. I'd probably be throwing every cleaning solution I had at that thing, including Brake Kleen.
