TO Da'RIck:You are a heck of a wide reciever! We as the TN fanbase want you to be successful on the football field as well as in life! I really look forward to seeing you and JH line up next year! It is shame we might not get too. We need you even though we as a fanbase can be ridiculous deep down we want you to be successful and honestly we want to win. We need you Da'rick!

My nephew (5 years old) and I were watching a TN game and "he said who is number 21 I reallly like him". Shortly after that you were standing over mr. honeybadger after a beastly play you made. I'm sure you remember that. Since he ask for a 21 jersey for Christmas.

Just the other day he ask me when it was going to be time to watch 21 play again. Did I lie to my nephew? I had to tell him there is a chance we might not see him play again and he said Why? So I talk to him about submiting to higher authority which in case was his parents and how 21 was having a problem doing with the coach or whatever it may be. He said " Well thats ok I forgive 21". Da' rick please don't make me look him in the eye later and have to tell him 21 didn't get it done.

Lets go Da' Rick! You will be better for it! Stay the course! Be the man you were called to be!

TO Players: GET AROUND DA' RICK! BE YOUR BROTHERS KEEPER! FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT! LETS GO! YOU HAVE THE ENTIRE WORLD WATCHING YOU! ESPECIALLY THESE YOUNG KIDS DON'T FAIL THEM BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY DON'T FAIL YOURSELF WHOM YOU OWE IT TO THE MOST!

To Fans:

I don't care what the mods do. There should be 1,000,000 threads started like this, and tonight or tommorrow the headlines should read fans call out Da'rick rodgers to get it done off the field and voice there support for him and dooley and the program. Let's GO!

Da'Rick man listen. I'm with nuclear on this one. You are one of the top players on our team. Your a beast. But whatever it is going on "internally", fix it pimpin. You have this year and god willing next year to be the best receiving core in the nation. THE BEST. Not USC not BAMA not anyone can compete on the level of u three. The fact that there going to try and double u or hunter leaves Rivera or downs or clear one on one with a slower backer. Dude this is money all day long. And when u do decide to go to the draft u and hunter and bray will all be 1st round if not low second. That's a damn payday. We as fans don't get those luxuries in life but that's why we're fans and not players. Man us fans just want the glory days again. All that **** gay kiffin pulled really set us back. That's why we need u to fix this "internal" situation for u for us and for ur team. Ignore all these dumba**es on here man. VFL is just that. VOL FOR LIFE. And if people can't get that, they can get to steppin. We want glory days so fix this mess and dominate this season. If not then I wish u and ur family nothing but the best. Go vols!!!

Da' Rick would make a great pro wrestler..... I bet he was cussing the UT coaches for not funding his pyro for his entrance.

Oh and Da' Rick! I'm praying for you! Your biggest fan!

You're praying for him? He doesn't have cancer-he brought this on himself. He's not going to wake up tomorrow and have an epiphany. He is most likely done at Tennessee....and costing himself a lot of NFL money.

But selfishly I do hope God convinces him to run his laps and listen to coaching.

However, I wonder how many people who are either defending him, or asking his teammates to rally around him have ever been on a team with a truly divisive force.

Haven't you ever heard the saying "people need prayer the most, when they deserve it the least"?

Personally, I don't care what happens, I just want it to be over yesterday. This team doesn't need distractions. If he's gone, we'll miss him on the field, if he's here, awesome, we're a really dangerous team. Either way, he's not bigger than this team, and he's been childish since he's been here. If he wants to go to GSU and ruin any chance he had of being a superstar in college, more power to him, but no one is gonna know who the hell he is down there at a school with a shiny new football program that is not good.

Need Dooley to set this straight, either he's with the team, or he's not... Draw the line in the sand Coach, give him the Janzen treatment if he deserves it (the boot, not the weed).

All of that aside, this kid needs prayer. He needs guidance, and he needs prayer because he's not accepting any guidance he's been given so far.

We should all pray FOR Da'rick, the person, not for Da'rick, the athlete.

Anyways....I agree with the Dooley angle. This has got to stop. This enabling crap is pathetic, and I am quickly losing respect for him as a coach and effective CEO of this program. Just cut your losses and move on with Patterson and the slew of 4 star receivers in this class.

Careful with your post man.

Now you have opened the gates for all the naysayers to come on here and talk about how those new receivers are unproven and how we need Da'Rick in order to have any chance of winning a single game this year.
