I've saw countless times of these recruits getting irritated with the minority of our fanbase (the stupid side). Please, for the love of the Vols let them know we do not support the acts of these idiots that troll these 17 year old boys on Twitter. Let them know that most of us have lives and its not stalking recruits. And please let them know how bad we despise the "fans" that do this. Thanks.

I've never tweeted a recruit in my life, but don't think there is anything wrong with a little "Go Vols, Come to Rocky Top, etc"

If it gets more personal than that it gets a bit weird and creepy.

This is total BS! I follow twitter all the time. All the recruits love it when you tweet about them. Every time I tweet to a recruit he retweets it or favorites it. The rude people on there get ignored. Recruits are smart enough to know when rivals are putting negative things out there. You speak of something you obviously know nothing about.

One of the great ironies of VN is the condescension some in the recruiting forum show towards us in the football forum. I mean, they spend their time following the tweets of underage boys and have the audacity to think of themselves as more sophisticated than "the jerks in the football forum". Lol.

You accuse people of things you would do or think about. Now that's creepy. Besides my nephew attends UT and he rooms with one of the players. I know a few of the kids and they have never expressed what you guys are saying. Fade, Kingston, Volout8, you guys need to look in the mirror because obviously you are talking about your own thoughts.

Was on the job this morning to Chris Weatherd, along with several other Vols fans, telling him to ignore the idiots and to let him know that Volnation is excited to have him be a Vol no matter when he gets here, Spring or Fall.

Nb4 I'm a creepy old dude stalking 18 year olds.

When our fan base has had the mother of one of our players publicly reprimand an overly friendly tweeter during the recruiting process, we tend to be a little sensitive when we hear about people tweeting at recruits.


Please don't write gushing letters to prospects either.
