I'll be glad when Dooley kicks butt this year, or gets his butt kicked this year, that way we (the wonderful vol family) can get past this. I'll die if we only win 7 but one of those wins is bama!! Here we go again! Lol! Even the op has to be ready to seal coach Dooley's fate!

That totally changed my mind............

You know you're behind the 8ball when 7 minute videos on Youtube are being employed to rationalize/change people's opinion about a football coach.

most folks judge a coach by his win/loss record

After watching that, i feel the same about ole doodad...I think he's a good man and proud to wear the Orange. I also think he is/will be a good coach..seeing big Al on there gave me goose bumps...i was 15 yrs old when i saw coach pf hold up that crystal football..and watched my ole man cry..The only time i ever seen him do it..anyways what this team needs imo is to come together and be a "band of brothers" for lack of a better term, and truely give they're ALL FOR TENNESSEE!! I support coach dd, and i loved the sh!t talking coach lk did too..anyone that wears the Orange has my support..i do my part as a fan..leave the hiring and firing to the ppl paid to do it...flame away beeeaochs, cause this ol boy is PROUD of our young men that give 3-4-5 yrs of they're life to be a part of something most of us only dream about..
GO VOLS and **** Alabama

Some people are absolutely ridiculous when talking about Dooley. This man took in Tennessee and bought in to Tennessee at by far its most vulnerable time decades. It makes me sick to see some of the post that people submit when talking about him because of what he has done in his time here. Look at what he inherited! To me (and 22 years old at that) being a Tennessee fan means way more than the wins and loses. Go ahead and rip me for that if you wish. I will support this team though thick and thin, regardless of wins and loses, who the coach is, what the national perception and media think of this team; this is my team, our team!! I am in full support of Coach Dooley because he is our coach! I follow this website to get information on how our program is doing, and do not post often as you can tell simply because I normally reserve my opinion to myself. But if you can not even get behind a coach in arguably one of the most down times in our programs history, then what are you doing here posing as a VOL fan. You are just continuing the negativity and down times in this program. We all want to win a d@mn title! But complaining about it and splitting up the Volnation is not going to help it one bit. We all need to come together and support our team like we used to! I don't care who is coaching us or who is playing...I am a VOL fan and a Tennessee Volunteer until the day I die. We could go 0-60 but Tennessee would still be my team and I would still support them regardless. I dare to say that many of you on this website you never be seen again, and/or start a complete hatred for the program if that were to happen. Stop worrying about the things out of your control and support your team like a true Volunteer would/should do! I love this team and university! It goes deeper than football and especially wins and loses. We all want to win, but I would rather support my team constantly than be a bandwagon fan that only shows up when everything is going right. Can't wait for football time in Tennessee! GO VOLS!!!!!!

I have supported Dooley from the start and still support him. My only complaint so far is not replacing Bray with Worley in the Kentucky game. I would give Dooley at least another year with 7 or more wins this year.

Deserves no comment except Dooley needs to put up or shut up this season. Can he coach, is he over his head as a HC in the SEC, and can he recruit enough good players to be competitive with the best teams? You make the call after this year but right now we are low level against SEC elites. We talk more about Vandy than Fl or Alabama which is sad.

No complaint about the LSU game?

7 wins is setting the bar too low

That's usually a good indicator of his ability to coach

No one wins in the SEC with nothing but underclassmen.. Our situation is anything but usual.

We will know this year if CDD can get it done or not, but anyone trying to condemn him based on the last 2 years are mistaken.

He is a good coach, and now that he has actual team... He will prove it

I just saw the post where UT got a committment from Paul Harris and it was supposedly gratifying to the staff because they beat out USC for him. How is that a victory when USC gets our best in-state player, a four star, and we get a three star from them? That's why we are ranked 28 in Rivals at this time.
