I'm heading down..do you know of any places to go out where people aren't gonna try to fight us? Any bars where away teams normally gather?

Not sure about away team bars, but There is a place on the corner of Buckman and University called "The Swamp" that's awesome (Buckman Hall is where I used to live). I always try and stay close to campus so I don't lose my parking spot. I am going to be grilling some burgers for my girl and I, but you're more than welcome to stop by. Send me a PM and I'll let you know where I am going to be.

It is nice to see sensible opposing fans rather than the slobbering idiots who usually come out in droves during their team's game week. If more Gator fans were like you, I would have enjoyed my only trip to the swamp much more.

Sadly, I wish I could say the same about Vol fans, but I know not everyone are like the ones I came across. I was hit in the head by a flying beer bottle after the 2000 game. I was in the Gator band then, and we literally had to run to our buses for safety. It left a nice gash also.

I had my fair share of stuff thrown at me at Florida 2003, but it doesn't compare at all to Georgia 2004. Someone threw something large...at least 3'x3', but thankfully it hit a tree. Tubas are natural targets, though no one dares to venture too close.

Also, I found out we're staying at one of the guy's friend's place that is sorta within walking distance of the stadium..from what I've been told we'll be tailgaiting somewhere...I'll try to get some more details.

I agree completely with the Georgia comment, somehow managed to get out of multiple fights and 2 arrests. Even though I don't remember it I still hate Georgia for it

May no one on either tam get hurt on Saturday. I'll be at the game and will wish any volunteers a best of luck. But the better team will win (Go Gators!)

For those of you that are making the trip down, drive safely. Florida has some of the worst drivers around, so be safe.

I will second that...especially on HWY 301. and be careful of the speed traps of Central Florida....FHP loves gameday traffic ticket quotas. I will be there in the Sunshine Corner.

yeh those were nice/feel good wins, but not the elite wins I'm talking about

LSU was an elite win, but only lasted for about a week and a half

when you don't have a chance at any hardware, those feel good wins only last for so long and you realize once again we are mediocre

profound!:bow2:

Knoxville is hard man.

No doubt. Never saw more fights in my life than when I went to the "School of Hard Knox.

Every team has their bad fans. Even though we are rivals, we all bleed the same color. As the week moves along, I probably will post little jabs here and there, but nothing that will borderline hatred. That being said

Good Guys: 27
Bad Vols: 21
If our defence shows up which they should for a big rivalry game like this i think we can beat you guys

Great Vols: 38
Tim Tebow: 31

I think this year will be different. I think it is very possible we both score more than 30 this Saturday night- a big Offense showing!

GO VOLS!
