'26 TN WR Tyreek King (Tennessee commit)

King's HUDL video has me excited about seeing him on the field in Tennessee Orange. He has what old Phil used to call "It."
Back in the early 2000s there was another King that reminds a lot of this one.

Justin King. 5 star out of PA that played at Penn State. Paired with Derrick Williams of MD who was also a 5 star.

Tyreek reminds me a lot of him in regards to speed, explosive and RAC.

I think Tyreek is better.

So what about the long history of kids who grew up UT fans and went to other schools. The mays kid till he transferred, hell didn't Jakobe Thomas who grew up a UT fan transferred here and then left for a little more of a payday. It's a win for this kid to shut things down, saying otherwise is cope.

Tee Higgins and Cade Mays, closest thing to a sure thing but weren’t

I absolutely think that's fair.

Things were different then.

I met Amari's parents through work. I wager a high caliber, person such as DW and JH would have been a different cologne than Botch.

They seemed like down to earth, reasonable people who were beyond sales pitches.

Not what I said at all lol. My point was only being able to point to the local kid you should be landing
Still it takes a relationship and Pope owns that. This kid went out his way to say UT's culture was a major reason for him shutting down his recruitment. Pope is part of that whether folks want to admit it or not.

Also, I never understand why a local kid is viewed as automatic, especially in the NIl environment of today. With the influx of people into the state, just because they live here does not mean that rhe state school is a slam dunk. It still requires recruiting effort is my point.
