Tonight was was the first time I saw real flashes of brilliance from Candace Parker a few times. She's been good all year, but she had a few plays like the coast to coast drive after the block that were jaw dropping.

That block & drive WERE pretty scary... What stood out most for me wasn't strictly the ball handling and shot itself as the way she looked doing it, if that makes sense; there are others who could do it, but not make it look so smooth and effortless......

Vols4life, I haven't watched Duke this year. Not been able to catch any of their games this year.
You brought up a good point about their bench. I definitely remember Currie!!
They still don't have 9 ranked teams in their lineup before us was my point.
It concerns me with how many minutes we seem to have to play. THe announcer made me laugh talking about how we kill people with our depth...huh??
LIke I said, I'd just as soon us lose this game and move on.
Even though I HATE to lose...

Saw them play Maryland...All I can say is WOW! Currie is not the PG this year with Harding back from a year long suspension...Waner is a like Caroline Williams I think only better she is just a freshman though...Williams is a physical presence on the inside at 6'3 and she has a big body....Bales is a 6'7 shot blocker I think she averages about 4 a game...Then off the bench they have a 6'5 sophomore who was a mcdonalds all-american out of high school, they have Waner's sister who sat out last year after transfering from Colorado, and they have a girl from Austrailia who can shoot the 3 as well...I cannot remember anyone else...but Currie would have been a top 5 pick in the WNBA draft had she left school but she came back...I can say this is the best team we have played to date come Monday...We must run Williams and Bass are not that fast!

Sounds like they've been building for this year, doesn't it? Thanks for the preview man! :D
