I don't think they'll learn how to tackle in 6 days.
That's something that's deteriorated over the course of a decade

Offense comes out and puts on a show. O'Neal has a big game and steps up to show that he is ready to be in the top 3 of the WR rotation with Taylor and Austin Powers. Defense sucks it up again though, but do force 2 turnovers.

i notice the same thing every year, i'm not sure if it's the way they practice until season or what. it seems like the first few games we always have the most difficult time making good body tackles, with the exception of a few. they'll pick it up in the weeks to come(they'll have to against florida). it just seems really awkward because you'd think that they would want to be putting the more harder hits on right now.

i'll try it again. you'd think they would want to damage faces right now. i had a long drive this morning and i'm tired, i'll leave it at that.

Welcome! I personally have never seen Southern Miss play. But a lot of non BCS team likes running the ball. From what I saw last night, I doubt the score will be 30,40 to under 10.

27-24 USM. After watching the Cal game, Tennessee needs to stop the run. They just happen to be facing one of the best backfields in the country.

Tenn will come out strong against s-miss but and slow down the run plus its the first home game so they will be pumped up I see it being
