Ya'll gunna ban that too?? Ya'll are flat out nervous and I don't blame ya. Nothing to lose for us. Totally relaxed, two weeks for this staff to prep, not a "quit" bone in any players body, CPF is GONE...shoot man, that's scary stuff. Your Mommas think ya'll are tough tough and virtually unbeatable and that's what counts, right?

Is anyone on this post, this board, this internet, or in college football fandom actually shocked by this development?

Stop the Presses! Bama ignores good sportsmanship!

That is about as informative a headline as, "Earth proven to be Round! Middle-age Mapmakers Miffed!"


This is a football program whom the NCAA has singled out as being the absolute largest, most unrepentent among violators of the letter and spirit of the NCAA regulations.

This is a booster club that did not (and does not) see any problem with purchasing young African American men from their high school coaches with cash, automobiles, and assorted backdoor incentives.

This is a university which the President of the United States had to order to admit African Americans, and when they refused to comply, the President had to order the National Guard to force Bama's compliance.

This is a state which turned firehoses on peaceful citizens who simply wanted to enjoy the same public accomodations as all other citizens without regard to their race, and whose popular governor declared that segregation should last forever.



I am honestly not shocked by anything they do.

That Bammer who shot his son after they lost to the 'barn a few years back? Ho-hum.

Some fat kid in a dress with a full back tattoo of the Bahr leaning on a goalpost? Predictable.

Some Bama co-ed and her fatter, weaker twin wearing houndstooth hats and whores' uniforms? Meh.


Call me when the NCAA actually grows a pair and gives the Gumps the DEATH PENALTY THEY SO RICHLY DESERVE.

...now that would be news.

Mark Ingram, Julio Jones, Trent Richardson, Mt. Cody, Rolando McClain, Marcel Dareus and we're scared, I don't think so.

I do think it will be a close game in the first half. Second half Bama will wear down the TN D. We've seen it every week this year.

Wearing home YERSEYS is not a gimmick, it's what was worn when Coaches called The General and The Bear roamed the sidelines, it's called TRADITION, and it's one of many reasons why this rivalry has captivated the South for over 80 years. I salute Lane Kiffin for coming in here with little knowledge of the history, but recognizing the special meaning this game has for both fan bases. It's a shame that Mal Moore and Nick Sabin has so little regard for the wished of the fans.

AL fans (and Nick Saban) DON'T CARE what color jerseys TN wears. Hell we don't care if you wear that putrid pink the NFL wears. Mal Moore is not going to accept ANY proposition Hamilton has this week. Take your penalties and wear whatever you want to.

I still feel sick about that time I dated a bammer student chick. It was a stage and I guess I was just "bammer curious", but the lifestyle freaked my family out and alienated my friends. My father said I'd never be able to serve my country if it got out. My pastor wanted me to come for couselling. It was fun for a while, but ultimately I repented and left the whole sorted affair behind. I only say this to hopefully keep the yougsters on here from making the same mistake.

Nick (swap the N for a P) Saban has denied the vols.....go figure. However, Kiffin can still opt to let them wear the orange, at the cost of a 15 yard penalty..for those who know this, but did not see his post practice interview, Mike Strange asked Kiffin if he would do it and take the penalty....Kiffins reply " NO, we're not that good yet "...with a smile on his face, which makes me wonder.....might he just do it anyway to checkmate Sabans douche move to deny us???? I'm betting right now our boys wear ORANGE saturday!

See, the thing is that then you guys would get to wear red in Neyland next year, and we could both wear our colors every year, which would be a nice touch for a game that used to be THE rivalry game in the SEC, but which has sort of fallen off the map in recent years. But no, your AD has to go and be an arse and ruin it.
