TN Titans franchise impact on recruiting

Yes, that is great. However; I am not a Titans fan. I have attended 6 games the entire time that they have been in Nashville. Colts, Jaguars, Steelers, 49er's, Cardinals & Browns are the games that I have attended.

Us, the citizens of Nashville, have paid tremendously in property taxes to fund the stadium and lure the franchise to Middle Tennessee....

In the near future, you will see the amount of major college prospects increase ALOT in the state of Tennessee.

If you will notice, all of the defunct cities in the North, which are run by liberal democrat mayors or governors are seeing their citizens leave in droves. They are heading to south, specifically Georgia, Tennessee and Florida.

People are tired of high taxes, high crime rates, high un employment and suppresive gun laws and cold weather. New York, Chicago, Detroit, Akron, Toledo, etc.

As those kids grow up here, they will not desire to play football at Ohio State (The Ohio State University, T.O.S.U.) or Michigan but in the S.E.C.

If bUTch can lock down the state of Tennessee, then we will be in business, as families move here for warmer weather, the prospect of jobs, safer communities with less crime and less taxes and better gun laws....

IMO, your points are a better explanation than those of the OP.

I think the middle Tennessee population boom & more emphasis on good football & fundamentals are the reason there is so much more talent in the area. Nashville has always been ahead of the state in most things & has surpasses Memphis in just about everything. East Tennessee is also catching up especially the Knoxville area & now Chattanooga is growing like crazy so expect more from that area as well. We just got to make sure the kids growing up in TN have orange blood .

I'll give you jobs amd less crime. Weather? Maybe, it's not like TN is Southern California or anything.

However, I seriously doubt any significant amount of people up root and move their family over gun laws.

I would also say Nashville is actually more liberal than most of the state. Mainly Davidson County though... Williamson/Sumner County is strongly conservative.

If the Titans have been so helpful to UT Football since moving to the state, then why has our football program steadily gone from the national elite level to an SEC cellar dweller during that period?

Anyone think hunter doing well for the titans might have caught Malones eye? Being tht he is from the Nashville area he could have seen justin showing out and realized that win or lose (and we will win) he could make it to the leauge and be very successful.

I'd also credit the move from the wing T offense at alot of schools. Many coaches stubbornly held on to the offense up until the early 2000's. Some still run it but I feel like it puts many skilled position players at a disadvantage coming out of high school.

And linemen due to that grade school chicken wing blocking garbage.

I disagree completely, he's just not a power running back. He would fit way better with one of the read option teams. If the Titans release him I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles or 49ers picked him up and watch him rack up big yards.

Ever since he got his big paycheck, he has been vastly overrated. Before he got his money, Johnson ran with authority and could make everybody look silly. Now he is a shadow of his former self. Johnson is still faster than any RB out there but he is just not that good anymore.
