'26 TN TE Carson Sneed (Tennessee commit)

I’d encourage my son to visit schools if he wants but I’d never approve of him signing to play for Lane Kiffin

So you would encourage your son to take visits after r has already committed to another school? Wow. I wouldn’t. I would tell him to take as many visits as he needs before deciding on where he wants to play.

And if he came to you after committing and said he wanted to take visits to make sure he was making the best decision for himself? You’d have him decommit? When he could just be open and honest with the staff?

Nope. I would tell him he should have thought about that before committing. I believe in honoring your word. Sad that you and others don’t.

That’s crazy. It’s not like he’s signed yet. If he’s honest with the staff then there is zero issue.

If my son playa football (Lord willing he wont), And his only offers are Florida or Alabama. I will pray hard, and hope he chooses otherwise. Other than that, take your visits.

I will hope the mac and cheese at UF and UA is old.

i just am baffled if carson goes elsewhere. in state, born and rasied TN fan, coaches bringing in the #1 overallplayer/#1 qb in america in his class, elite LT committed in his class, elite slot receiver to pair up with committed.... huh?? Who are making these decisions for these kids? Maybe I should look into become a high school/college football agent. Seems like all you need is to be able to read and write. I'm only decent at those things...good enough. Then you just pester the **** out of coaches until you get $15,000 more here, $25,000 more there? Parasitic profession at this level.

in 2014 this is one of those kids that commits 3 years early and we don't hear again about him until he faxes his papers in on signing day

but see the problem is sometimes my brain slips back into 2014 recruiting. things followed logic to a degree... alas
