Talking to different sources, and people connected to this recruitment, we lean slightly toward the Vols. Tennessee missed on Savion Hiter, we hear they are prepared to make a strong push for Gabriel-Georges when that time comes. He is clearly their top target at running back for 2027.
The same can be said for Ohio State. The Buckeyes and the Vols are battling for that top spot. Carlos Locklyn is doing a great job. Gabriel-Georges and his family were in Columbus for a full weekend after the Texas game and spent time around the staff and the campus on Sunday. There is some confidence that they can get this done.
Georgia is running third. Will Georgia compete on the NIL side with Ohio State and Tennessee? They usually don’t. Can Texas get him on campus and make a big move? If he visits Austin, anything is possible.
They do, but you really have to come in and set that up very early in your time there. So not sure David would be able to do so since I don’t think he’s been there that long. It happens but it’s very very rare there.Don’t think Baylor accommodates reclassifing. Wasn’t the receiver we got from there in ‘25 the only guy who didn’t show up in January?
I had kids there for 7 years and I don’t recall it ever happening, but that doesn’t mean you’re wrong just it must be extremely rare. They do, but you really have to come in and set that up very early in your time there. Yes, has to be worked out at the beginning. Not something you do as a junior and decide to graduate a year early. So it is extremely rare due to the academic standards they have for everyone, but if someone like Peyton wanted his son to do so, he would pretty much have to work with the academic advisor NOW(as an 8th grader) to pretty much have any chance. I mean technically he could transfer after season to a public school and do it without even having to work with The Baylor School.I had kids there for 7 years and I don’t recall it ever happening, but that doesn’t mean you’re wrong just it must be extremely rare.
