AP said in a pod a while back that Simpson nearly flipped to UT during the recruiting process and hinted Simpson came close to transferring to UT. Also said Ty still has a great affinity for UT.

Jason Simpson had Dobbs on campus last summer to throw with the guys so I’m not sure the blood is all that bad. Hoping CJH can sort this out.

And I recall several plays from South Pittsburgh, TN being pretty good footballers as well.

That was kinda my point. Showing that if there is bad blood, it doesn’t go any further than CJH, and it’s not necessarily with UT as a school/program.
