TN OL Chris Morris (Texas A&M commit - Now JUCO)

Do you think this would be a miss by staff?

yes and no because I don't think you can't find another like him but yes because he can be a star next level. kid just has it was a beast at DE when smaller and now he's blown up and has a Haynesworth type of attitude and ability in the trenches

I think it will be a bad look if we don't land any of the Memphis kids this year. That was one of the main areas the staff needed to make inroads to. If we get one of either Morris or Omari I think we can count that a success. Both is a damn coup.

Man, Is TAMU our new nemesis? Seems like most of our highly sought after recruits have us and them in top 2/3 here lately.

Austin Thomas is over there getting them in with these kids. It’s also why mike F and woody *** because he feeds them info. If you notice they are all about AM and pushing AM on Morris

First, who was the person that gave this young man his first beer? THAT was awesome, dude was high on something lol.

Second, whatever they are doing, it must be working. Word around the Rivals challenge is Morris to A&M. I assume he made the Opening, let’s see if the vibe is the same, expect CBs to follow if so.

long way to go still. and if there's one thing i feel confident in saying about CM is i think he's gonna do what he wants to do. just need to get him on campus as much as possible.

What? This is a sports forum not a porn site. How does this stuff stay on here? Kids come on here. Tone it down.

Someone send this kid that weird ass cadet video. He doesn’t know what kind of damn weirdos he’s jumping in with.

Tennessee: "The reason why I picked them for my first official visit is because I had been talking with Bethany Gunn, who is their director of recruiting. We are really close. That's like my best friend. We're really cool and she had been wanting me to visit. We set it up last minute. When I was up there it just gave me a better chance to keep building that connection. I've been there a lot so I didn't see anything new, but I enjoyed the trip. They are coming up as a team and getting locked in. I had a chance to go to Coach Pruitt's house and meet his family and stuff like that. It was fun. You can actually see that he really likes his kids and he has a bond with them. It was good to see him outside of the office and just get a feel for everything."

Texas A&M: "I have a great relationship with the coaches there. I've been there a lot. You can see that a lot of people are going there. That means something. Jimbo has been doing a great job recruiting. Texas A&M is like my second home. I'm not saying that means anything for my decision, but really I have built a great relationship with the coaches. That means a lot to me and is a big reason why I'm still looking at them."

Additional official visits: "I'm planning on taking them to Texas A&M, Oregon, Ohio State and Alabama. Those are the other schools in my Top Five right now.
Decision timeline: "I know where I"m going to commit but I'm not telling anyone. But I'm going to announce at a game and it's going to be at the top of the stadium after they win the game."

RIVALS REACTION
Morris continues to include other schools on his list but this battle appears to be coming down to the Vols vs. the Aggies. Morris has been a regular at both campuses in 2019 and it was interesting that he took an early official to see the Vols. If he moves up his decision timeline, that's probably a good sign for Tennessee, but if he waits and gets back to College Station in fall it could be a sign he's leaning toward Texas A&M.

you'll be able to tell alot by what games he decides to go to. if he comes to GA game here and like Sam HOuston St down there, that's a pretty good tell lol.....

Is there some context that I'm missing or what? Referring to TAMU, etc. as the other schools in his top five is essentially saying that Tennessee is in the lead, right?
