'25 TN LB Austin Howard (Mississippi State commit)

Defensively, multiple Tennessee staffers worked in the state of Georgia on Monday. William Inge and Tim Banks were the two coaches that did not work in the area. Inge worked around Memphis as he checked on in Vanderbilt linebacker commitment Austin Howard and Ole Miss commitment Jarcoby Hopson during his travels.

So the staff is hoping it’s another Arion Carter type? Because right now his offer list is really weak.
Different LB coach for one.

But I’m simply saying that if you read the tea leaves from Callahan you’ll see it went from “they want to see him in camp” to “after Inge saw him at practice they might not need to.” That tells me they’re likely to push soon. Remember they’ve already offered…

He’s just saying what some of our fans think
Some of our fans think the whole roster should be only Tennessee kids

One poster said Vandy getting Ethan crisp a couple years ago was a failure by our staff for not getting him at Tennessee lol

That was me. Yes, I might have been a little hyperbolic but Ethan was a tweener S/LB. It hurt his outlook at some schools. Rivals had him listed as the 29th best lb in the country. He is doing well at Liberty now and contributing a ton as a redshirt freshman. We have had plenty of kids never contribute at all here.

I also have NEVER said that our roster should be only TN kids. I challenge you to pull up any quote that is to the contrary.

Hey
We all get excited or mad over recruiting
I’m trying to be calm and hoping our db recruits work out

Wouldn’t call one tackle in three games contributing a ton

I'm seeing these posts saying Vandy commit but my computer is seeing Ms St on the title, did he flip?
Two different conversations going on. Ethan Crisp is a LB from a couple years ago. He was at Vanderbilt but then transferred to Liberty. That has nothing to do with Austin Howard. He is currently committed to Mississippi State.

In-state four-star linebacker Austin Howard who is committed to Mississippi State is another that has been having dialogue with Tennessee. Two targets, one spot as it stands now.

Two targets being Howard and perlotte? Guess he thinks there’s no shot with faraimo.
