'26 TN CB Zaydyn Anderson (Tennessee)

Hated the way he was used at GreenEville.
He had zero impact against Alcoa because that coach doesn’t have an ounce of creativity.

Meanwhile the PWO kid from Anderson County beat Alcoa by himself this year.

Not uncommon with high school coaches. I remember seeing Tee Higgins at Oak Ridge and wondering if his coach had any idea that he had a 5* talent at hie disposal because he had no idea how to use him.

True. That’s why they’re coaching HS and nowhere higher. Big egos of their neighborhood.

I despised trying to communicate with them about their players back in Texas sometimes.

Pretty interesting our two CB prospects got the biggest bumps of all our recruits.

Shows me how much previous identification and development at a certain position for a school plays a role in the rankings over pure talent.

Don't think it's a coincidence that the success of McCoy, Hood and Redmond all of a sudden leads to higher ranked CB recruits for us.

It's criminal that they haven't been bumped before now. Zay has balled out all year on both sides of the ball. If he had been locked in a high stakes recruiting battle, no telling where he would end up ranked. Kids like this that are no drama usually turn out to be excellent players.
