TN can make a STATEMENT.

For Pruitt this is a VERY tricky and potentially a VERY dangerous situation to be in and here's some things to if we LOSE any of our current recruits to WKU.

!
Not worried about any football recruit that UT loses to Western....unless it's a basketball player to Stansbury

Just my take on this situation, it's a big hire in more ways than one. I think this may buy Pruitt a little extra time for one, year two new system and it'll be pretty much ran by new talent(I think since Pruitt has basically said as much about guys doing it right and recruiting over them, that speaks for itself. Going to see a lot of youngsters out there next season) but it will also shape the rest of his tenure here. I have faith that with his connections in the coaching community that he will make the best hire possible. I will say he don't need to promote from within. I'm just a guy on an internet forum and know nothing about what he's thinking and his reasoning if he were to do that but that's JMO.

I think the whole thing is completely overblown. Any of about 20 guys can work out. Bottom line is the program needs athletes and stable leadership.

I don't normally read or agree with your posts but this is spot on. Leadership builds champions. While playing college ball and being a Sr we made sure the younger players bought in. At times it's hard and you have to knock a few heads but when they see the betterment of the program they fall in line. Leadership is a must for any program and you are spot on.
