I like where Auburn stands with him. I don't think Tennessee is really going to be spending on WR past Bowman this class unless they just love a player. On paper, you return your 6 most talented receivers for 2027 and you got your top $ priority already. What's the point of paying a kid that won't play for multiple years

Yea but we need the depth as well, and im assuming you’re factoring in mm/stayley leaving for the nfl?

I'm not counting anyone as leaving, why I said on paper. Matthews and Staley both need notable jumps to be where they will likely want to be round wise. I don't see why they would not ultimately be back unless someone is just dying to go pro. Kinda feels like everything is being built up for 2027 season to be the climax of the offensive core (only Moe, Haslam will be out of eligibility)

Yep. Sham will be a 5th year senior, and guys like Ogumoru, Osenda, J. Heard, Ginther, Moore will be developed. I know all those guys won’t stay, but we should have plenty of OLine depth and talent. I’ve heard they like Ogumoru.

That’s fair.

If Matthews and Stayley will be back then that would be YUGE, plus hopefully bringing in an elite 5 star rb, season experienced qb (brandon), 3/5 of the OL being 2+ year starters here, im really seeing the vision

Jun 19 he’s scheduled for Eugene.

He ain’t going out there. We should see if we can get him in, just for kicks.

Matt Ray said a while ago on a pod talking about in state kids that we were behind in this one but didn’t elaborate why or if we were gonna turn the heat up.

IIrc, we sent Pope to see him in the spring.

WR in general is the last position of concern here. Tae at corner is intriguing to me but he needs weight even for that.

Ball skills project to boundary corner or he could end up at safety.

I’d be a little surprised if both he and Sabb signed with Oregon in the end.

Pope saw him a week after a secondary coach did. He's a good receiver but he's just not going to add a ton of weight bc of his build. He doesn't have wide shoulders to really pack weight upon, which led to a lot of staffs viewing him as a defensive back again. I mean it can work out with that build as we saw with Dont'e Thornton, but more often than not programs like those guys on defense
