'26 TN ATH Joel Wyatt

You can put on weight. Can't add length and athleticism. He's an in-state kid you take a chance on. Regardless of position, he's probably not playing right away anywhere regardless

That’s a 10-15 pound difference in the two and Herring has yet to show he’s an NFL caliber edge rusher. Also JJ Watt left high school well over 250 pounds. I’m just saying Wyatt’s NFL ceiling is significantly higher at WR than Edge, and our goal is to field a team of future NFL players. Not just guys that are capable of playing a position. I mean does he even beat Dunham out for a starting spot or reps as a rotation guy in year 2 if we can land him too? That Leo spot is just so deep I don’t ever see him making the impact there that he could as a receiver with a good QB
Watt was not 250 pounds in high school. You are wrong there.

Dude has another year before he steps foot on a college campus. Who actually knows when the last time height/weight on recruiting profiles were updated. It's not worth fighting about what position he can play.

Joel is ranked #1 athlete in this class - still amazed he is staying at Webb. I pray he doesn’t get hurt having to basically play the entire game every game.
I would like to see him go to Baylor his last year, or somewhere that could get him a little better prepared for the SEC so he could enter college with a little more polish as a receiver and get some experience against better talent. I’d hate to see what happened to Cam Seldon happen to this guy where he has all the potential in the world but gets lost on the roster because he was making such a huge jump in competition without a position. He has the athleticism to come in and make our WR room elite with Keys and a hopefully returning Matthews and Staley next year

Still bummed about Cam, tbh.

He didn’t finish in the top ten at the under armor event in Nashville. I think he is a little over ranked and I could see his ranking drop if he has a few more performances like Saturday. He needs to transfer schools and have a year to get really developed his senior year. Webb isn’t willing to spend money on football and it’s really a joke compared to top programs in the state.

He worked out as a receiver and couldn't catch. Can really change direction on his routes tho which is deadly with that size. Couldn't catch tho. Needs to play defense
