The Associated Press' Top 10 teams in each of Tennessee's six Division I non-financial aid classifications and in the combined Division II financial aid classification as selected by Tennessee AP-member sportswriters and broadcasters. With first-place votes in parentheses, records through September 7, total points based on 10 points for a first-place vote through one point for a 10th-place vote:

I was in South Pittsburg last Friday and watched the Pirates roll Marion Co. 64-0. Them boys can play. Coached by ex Vol manager Vic Grider. They wear Adidas uniforms (orange and black) really cool. Look like last year's halloween Vols.

I was in South Pittsburg last Friday and watched the Pirates roll Marion Co. 64-0. Them boys can play. Coached by ex Vol manager Vic Grider. They wear Adidas uniforms (orange and black) really cool. Look like last year's halloween Vols.

I unfortunately was at that game as well. It was sad to see, but it's not like it wasn't expected. Sp is very good.

Whoever gave Boyd a first place vote in 2A obviously didn't watch the Red Bank debacle 2 weeks ago.

I can't wait to see AC vs. Powell next week. It was a good game last year and both teams are now ranked in the top 4.

assuming oakland beats riverdale next week after beating brentwood last night, we will have a new number one soon

Make that 4-0 Basin 47-Towns Co.(GA) 0...we have outscored our opponents 180-6...only TD was given up on a KO return...keep it up...way to go Big Red
