Took the kids on Thursday. They absolutely loved it.

I found it fun. Humor was on point. Cool 90s hip hop soundtrack and a score by Trent Reznor. Animation was done well, not quite Spiderverse level but still very good.

I didn’t love the way Splinter was portrayed or his general motivations but it worked for the story they were trying to tell.

I took the youngest and his friend yesterday. The boys loved it. I enjoyed the animation and the music. It was fun.

Yeah, my excitement jumped with the trailer. After 4 straight terrible movies in the franchise, I needed to see its promise.

This movie was so good. I laughed so many times (mostly at Splinter/Jackie Chan) and Ice Cube was great. All the voice acting was awesome. Long live the 100-minute run time!

Jackie Chan was funny. I didn’t care for how they changed his origin from being a pet rat of Shredder’s rival to just a street rat that learned martial arts via YouTube.
