I am not too confident in this team, I hope they have been holding back during pre-season................

If they can't beat the Jets, it's gonna be a really long season.

Im a Titans fan, but lets face it. They wont be making a super bowl run this season.

Collins is a statue that should be booted out of the league. WHat the hell was Fisher thinking????

Yes, I hate the Titans. The Jets were considered by many as possibly being the worst team entering the 2006 season. Looks like the Titans are trying to steal that role from them.

Fisher is a good coach, I think Reese has mismanaged the acquisition of good talent.

Yep. I'd much rather get a corner that's got league experience.

Plus, the Titans have some interesting recent history drafting corners :crazy:

I can't think it's all on Jeff Fisher. He's a damn good coach, the team just needs more talent. IMO

Titans are just young and not that good at this point.

At least they didn't give up completely today, that was nice to see.

The passing defense is a joke. Pennington is a good QB and he picked them apart. I was impressed with the run D though... of course, that was against a team with 0 running backs.

I agree. Samari Rolle and Andre Dyson proved to be very good corners recently with the Titans. We'll see how Pacman turns out.

Was at the game today. Collins looked really bad the first half, but got things rollin in the 4th quarter. Still, I have no idea why Fisher didn't play Volek. (You know he has to be really pissed off at the Titans organization.) Sorry CBC, but Young doesn't look developed enough yet to keep up with the speed of the NFL. Until then, go with a guy that can move the ball and stretch the field. IMO, Fisher has never been that good of a coach. True he got to the superbowl, but look at all the talent we had that year. The years he had before that were bad to mediocre at best. And after the 99 season he had a few good years and started producing bad records again. The GM sucks as well.

yeah, i don't get the whole Collins/VY/Volek deal. can't really blame Fisher, he can only play the guys he has to work with. the GM should have had Collins in there way earlier. it's impossible to bring a QB into a new NFL offense and have him produce right off the bat. Peyton could do it, but that won't ever happen.

i think Collins will get better. everybody knows this is going a down year. everybody knows this team won't contend for the playoffs. only thing i can think is they think VY will be ready next year, and they lost faith in Volek to get it done this year. of course, everybody only remembers that miracle season Volek had where he started like, what 8 games, and was on fire.

lol. no. though i probably should have. i never heard anybody say anything about him the whole game. it was like everyone had forgot about him. were u at the game tiddy?

I'm sorry for the hurtin my Jets (league's worst team?? think again prognosticators) put on your Titans this past weekend. :) VY looked pretty decent in the few snaps he played.

Any competent QB would have force-fed Drew Bennett the whole game. David Barrett was guarding him every time with a 5-yard cushion... unreal!

Seriously, we're in similar situations and wish you guys the best in rebuilding. Plus, it's hard to root against you guys with so many UT alums.
