it's possible, but - if so - it's less lame duck status than the situation Fisher was getting ready to have...which was an "assemble a staff and, oh, there's no real guarantee you or they will be here past next year if you don't do well this season"

yeah, but really just have to see how it plays out

could turn out to be terrible moves, or could turn out to be great hires. Noone's really going to know until the product's out on the field
