From the recent news article by TitansOnline.com Senior Writer/Editor Jim Wyatt

On Tuesday Josh Dobbs made it clear football is his profession. From the stands at Ladd-Peebles stadium, in Mobile, Alabama, Tennessee Titans GM Jon Robinson let it be known he is watching Dobbs work at the Senior Bowl event to launch his promising NFL career into flight.

“He is an extremely smart guy, and obviously played at an extremely high level for a really good program that coach (Butch) Jones runs at Tennessee,’’ Robinson said of Dobbs. “He is a team-first guy, he is a tough guy, he is a really good athlete. He made some really good throws in the Music City Bowl I was able to watch, and it will be good to evaluate him this week in this setting.”

With Good QB's at such a premium in NFL, Dobbs should get a lot of interest!

Look at the last 4 teams in playoffs, 3 all time great QB's and current Best QB this season for ATL!

Most teams left out have QB issues!

Josh Dobbs is the type of guy that could last 12-15 years in the NFL as teams knows he is not a "me first" guy, he will always be prepared in a backup role, he is very intelligent, and he will do what is needed of the team..........remember Charlie Batch, well Dobbs to me as that ability and who knows if he works on his accuracy and how to read defenses, he could be really good. Dobbs could be very reliable in a Kordell Stewart role also..... I just think he has options and whats NOT to like about him.

Id listen to what JRob says. Dude is good. What he did with the Titans in one year was nothing short of amazing.

Dobbs and Prescott were frequently compared to one another before their senior years with Deep ball n accuracy if I rem correctly being the main concern.Dak seemed to improve passing wise alot better than dobbs, although Dobbs didn't have a shabby throwing season himself.I just think with Daks recent success and them being similar Dobbs will go higher than he maybe woulda last year.Who knows with a good qb coach and a year or two in the NFL he may surprise sum folks...I myself think he make a helluva wide receiver but I guess will see.

I like Dobbs' prospects at the next level. His best skill (the one between his ears) gives him a good shot at getting better. And it's not like he's a stiff, athletically. Could surprise people.

Seriously?

I've maintained since he was drafted that he and Jameis Winston will be BUSTS. I expect both to fall flat on their faces in year 3 like Blake Bortles this season after he had a good year 2. Mariota had a decent season statistically and so did Jameis, but neither impress me with having much in the way of long term potential. I think last year was just a flash in the pan just like Blake Bortles 2015 season was a flash in the pan.

The only young franchise caliber QBs are in the NFL right now are Derek Carr and Dak Prescott. Nobody else registers. Winston and Mariota will at best be average starting QBs.

Just when I thought you couldn't be any more ignorant of football, you outdid yourself.

I think he just has to maintain these types of replies after that mid-season meltdown he had. He lost the only 3 people who took him seriously then so now you just have to throw poop at the wall and hope it sticks.

I wouldn't mind him as a backup, and he'd get to learn from Mariota.

Actually a great idea, one im sure Robinson def takin notes on...Cassel isn't the answer, take Dobbs release Cassel saves money plus u got a helluva athlete in Dobbs worse case scenario...Fact Mariota hasn't made it a full season will make the titans get a Qb sumwheres, there shooting playoffs gotta have sumone competent just incase..Hell worse case try him at Wr or he doesn't cut it at Qb.Honestly think he be a beast of a receiver, kid can take a lick
