Tired of the Chryst talk

Even if Chryst doesn't start he serves a valuable role as an experienced back up. Be glad the players get along unlike the QBs on the Tide.

Whoever gets the back up spot we don’t need it to be Chryst. If Shrout needs to burn a red shirt to get the experience it is fine, but we need someone ready if Guarantano goes down.

and nobody is saying Gitmo doesn't have things to work out. He needs to recognize defensive alignments and check out of some bad situations, but the coaches need to help him at that too. Helton or QB coach needs to show him on film what he can do when spots a mismatch up front and needs to adjust the blocking or change a call.

Gitmo? Im not easily "triggered" but Im not crazy about someone calling our QB Gitmo honestly.

I will be totally surprised if we see anyone take a snap against Florida except JG. No reason to give any other QB any snaps in that game other than injury or losing a helmet or shoe which we seen a lot of yesterday.

Tired of the Chryst talk? Don't listen to it or read about it. By golly, there's a perfect solution! I always knew life was simple but people insist on making it hard, uh-huh.

It's as if they feel bad that Chryst didn't win the job. He doesn't need the reps. We need the confidence and games like this needed 4-5 more scores.
I think it’s just good coaching. He does need the game reps to get him more comfortable and familiar with the offense should he be needed in case of a JG injury once we’re in SEC play.

I think the coaches know it's going to take everything to win in conference and that means people getting hurt our injury also it may be running JG and he doesn't seem to know how to slide feet first, kinda like RG3. So they prepared the last two weeks got everyone reps. Chryst strength is I formation power football and reading defense and making adjustments. JG is the man going forward and if he gets hurt we will have a game manager to back him up.

As far as putting Chryst in when he did was decided during the week of game planning. As CJP said earlier in the week Chryst would play regardless because IF JG goes down (I hate saying this but it’s more likely than not playing Auburn, Georgia, and Bama so close together) Chryst WILL be the QB. This is smart and logical. I think it’s clear so far that JG is the better QB BUT if we are hoping he’ll make it all season without getting injured at some point this season (of course I certainly hope not) then we make be severely disappointed. Hope for the best but plan for the worst and that’s ALL ITS ABOUT FOR PLAYING CHRYST.

Wish KC had started last game. I felt better with him in the game. Probably because it was a different look. But JG wasn't getting it done technically.
