Who was the coach and quarterback when he said that?
And he’s injury prone. Probably wouldn’t have made it to the second half. But he’s going to get his shot at them in November. Let’s see how he does.exactly. he is already turnover prone when pressured. I can't imagine facing that Texas team with our Oline with Leavitt, and expecting a multiple turnover free game.
Roger Staubach....you might be thinking of Rusty Staub, who played for the Detroit Tigers. I recall he got a pinch-hit home run. Ernie Harwell said, "He's like the old tube of toothpaste. There's always just a little bit more."Is that Roger Staub’s boy? Used to play for the Cowboys. He could sling it, barely even needed a face mask. Put him in!
"Coach MIGHT KNOW know the situation better than I do"You might want to sit down before reading. This is a sports board. Rational thought is not required. Lookit, Coach might know the situation better than I do. I could be totally wrong. If we do not have a QB with the ability and experience to plug into a situation like this, why don't we? Brandon wants to play and he is talented, but the fact is that Brandon just turned eighteen years old.
Losing to Auburn is among my worst memories as a Vol fan. Losing to Arkie again would be awful. Is game in the Ville or Little Rock? To me, taking a loss from the #1 team in the country by 3 points seems like it put a question mark over those games, and that is probably not a valid take on the situation. It could be an exaggerated over reaction. If Faizon plays like dog poo again this saturday and we lose to Auburn it might have to considered going into the Arkansas game
